Carmen Watkins is our K-12 Education Business Development Manager at Kookaburra Resources. With a combined Bachelor of Teaching/Bachelor of Arts, she has always had a deep passion for, and interest in, the education sector.
This love for education extends to her role, which involves communicating with school administration and executive staff across NSW. Carmen discusses our amazing products and services with potential, new and existing customers daily.
Carmen also spends time sourcing the latest and greatest resources and products for customers, while liaising with our in-house team to facilitate the best outcome.
When not at work, she loves spending time with her husband and two children and reading a good book with a glass of wine. Carmen will also always take up the opportunity to enjoy a morning walk along Newcastle Beach – especially after a Pilates session with her daughter.
As part of her role, Carmen loves being able to watch the changes and improvements in the education sector and how this can benefit the lives of many. She is excited to play a small part in the big future of Kookaburra and education across Australia. Carmen says she could not ask for a better, more enthusiastic team to work with.
