What is Circuit Scribe?

Circuit Scribe lets you learn about electronics by drawing working circuits with conductive silver ink. Draw circuits that connect a battery to lights, buzzers, motors, and more. The Circuit Scribe is a rollerball pen that writes with conductive silver ink. It makes creating circuits as easy as doodling. No shaking, no squeezing, no goop, no smell, no waiting for ink to dry - Circuit Scribe draws smooth lines with and allows you to create functioning circuits instantly. Similar to drawing a picture, students can use a Circuit Scribe pen to draw lines on a simple piece of paper. They can then attach special electrical components on the drawn lines which allows the electrical currents to run through the components. This replaces the use of breadboards and wires. Circuit Scribe was made for project based learning. Students can build circuits and switches in their notebooks and use those concepts to get creative!

Circuit Scribe Basic Kit

Get started with drawing circuits on paper. The Basic Kit contains a Circuit Scribe pen, six modules, a 9V battery and other accessories. Explore basic circuit concepts like conductivity and work up to creating a touch-sensitive circuit using the NPN transistor.

Circuit Scribe Super Kit

An introduction to more advanced concepts the Super Kit contains a pen eleven modules a 9V Battery and other accessories to take your circuit sketches to the next level. This kit allows you to explore all the concepts that the basic kit presents while building your understanding of inputs outputs and signal processing in your circuits. Additional topics to explore include light sensing timed circuits piezoelectric materials and more. The full size pen included will write for around 120 meters.
