The Grammar Rules! series for Years 1–6 has been newly adapted to align specifically with the NSW English Syllabuses, K–2 and 3–6. Each student workbook introduces and builds on foundational literacy skills and the important connection between reading and writing. Text models are used in each unit to assist with the explicit teaching of the grammar, language and structure of different text types for a variety of purposes and audiences. Correct grammar terminology is used throughout to give students the tools they need to properly talk about language. The series also features First Nations Australian texts, authors and perspectives, as well as other multicultural perspectives, to represent contemporary Australian communities and classrooms.
Grammar Rules! includes two teacher resource books for Years 1–2 and 3–6. Each teacher resource book includes helpful information about methods of teaching grammar and language, extra activities for each unit, and answers for the student workbooks. A digital download code is provided in each teacher resource book to access extra documents to use in your classroom, such as punctuation charts, grammar rules and tips, and reproducibles.
