The new Queensland Senior Syllabus has been designed to help develop the 21st-century skills and knowledge students need for success in their future work and life. Psychology will be offered as a Senior Science subject in Queensland for the first time from 2019.

Psychology for Queensland Units 1 & 2 covers information for research in psychology and information included in Unit 1: Individual Development such as the role of the brain, cognitive development and human consciousness and sleep, and information included in Unit 2: Individual Behaviour, including intelligence, diagnosis, psychological disorders and emotion and motivation.
